Easter Activities in Chester
Egg Hunt at Chester Zoo
If you head to Chester Zoo this Easter (28th March -19th April ) then you can join in with the Free Egg Hunt.
There will be a number of eggs hidden across the zoo, each one beautifully painted to represent some of the animals in the zoo. You can use the trail map and find every egg to earn a special sweet treat from the gift shop.
Free if you’re a member or included with your entry ticket prices start at £36.50 for an adult and £27 for a child.
Easter activities in Cheshire
The following is a list of family friendly fun Easter activities taking place near Chester, in Cheshire.
Easter Boat Gathering – Ellesmere Port
Between 3rd and 6th April from 10am to 5pm there will be a whole host of activities taking place at the Waterways Museum in Ellesmere Port. You will be able to join in with the Easter trail and crafts as well as see all the boats and chat with the volunteers. Entry is free but there will be additional charges for some activities.

Bunny Hop – Knutsford
Head to Knutsford town centre on Sunday 4th April for their annual Bunny Hop event. Here you can find lots of Easter fun. You can enter the egg trail to find hidden eggs, play games, admire the Easter displays and wear your Easter bonnets.

Easter Egg Hunt – Tatton Park (Gardens)
Between 28th March-19th April There will be a Miffy themed Easter Egg Hunt. Follow miffy into the Gardens, where little explorers can search for springtime surprises on a scavenger hunt, play games and discover the sights, sounds and smells of the season. Meet Miffy’s farmyard friends as you help her prepare for a special Easter picnic before heading inside the Mansion to see what Easter treasures miffy has found! A joyful spring adventure for the whole family with Easter chocolate rewards.

There are lots of activities taking place at Jodrell Bank this Easter between 3rd and 19th April.
