Easter is just around the corner and one of the most popular ways to celebrate seems to be indulging in the most delicious snacks, so I have found some wonderful Easter treats the whole family can enjoy over the holiday period.
Russell and Atwell Chocolate treats
If you are looking for an indulgent Easter treat that you can enjoy with the family then it has to be the Russell and Atwell fresh chocolate. They have both the traditional style Easter eggs as well as some incredible filled fresh chocolates that come in individual packs. These chocolates are not like your typical super market chocolate they are made with fresh organic cream from the Cotswolds and need to be refrigerated and eaten within 4-6 weeks, which trust me, wont be a problem! They currently have 7 flavours available with something for everyone so be sure to try Russell and Atwell this Easter.
Available flavours
- Creamy Milk
- Dirty Blond
- Salted Caramel
- Cracking Hazelnut
- Smooth Dark
- Tropical Passion Fruit
- Marc de Champagne
Haribo Easter Treats
For those that do not like, or have had enough, chocolate then check out these Eater themed sweets from Haribo. They have two special designs to choose from Jelly Bunnies and Eggs Galore. In the usual Haribo sweets my favourites are either the white milk bottles or the fried eggs so a whole pack dedicated to Easter Eggs is perfect for me. The best bit is that these Easter treats are also available in the mini packs which would be perfect for hiding round the house as part of the Easter hunt.
Easter Hampers
Buy a gift have pulled out all the stops over the last year putting together some amazing hampers, one of which we featured in our Mother’s Day Gift Guide. This time however, I want to share with you one of the Easter Treat Hampers, perfect for the family to share as there is something for everyone. The hamper costs £32.50 and contains
-Border Lemon Drizzle Melts 150g
– Buttermilk Hot Cross Bun Fudge
– Chocolate Mini Eggs 150g
– Linden Lady Decorated Milk Chocolate Egg 125g
– Linden Lady 6 Decorated Chocolates 60g
and it comes presented in the wicker basket, which I always think makes a lovely touch, especially if you are buying this as a gift.
Cupcakes
Cakes are not just for birthdays! Again I think it is safe to say that people have been treating themselves and their loved ones to more and more cakes throughout lockdown. I have certainly seen a rise in companies offering cakes, cake pops and cupcakes in our local area which suggests there is the need for them. One particular company offering Eater Cupcakes is Send them cupcakes. They sent us a box of 6 to try and I can highly recommend them. The sponge is delicious but oh my the butter cream is even better! If you like cake you will love these and they have lots of different designs to choose form. You could even serve them up as an Easter Sunday pudding with a dollop of ice cream and some Dessert Parlour sauce.
