Christmas is just around the corner and for most people the preparations are well under way by now, however there are always those few people that seem to be harder to buy for than anybody else. Maybe they are fussy or they simply seem to have everything already or maybe you just always draw a blank when it comes to buying a gift for them. Well hopefully this selection of Christmas gift ideas for women will give you some inspiration, especially as it includes a couple of my favourite bands.
Smellies with a purpose
Now I appreciate that it is a little stereotypical to say that women love smellies and I know not all of them do but for those that do how about opting for some beauty products with a purpose instead of just a thoughtless smelly gift set that you could pick up for anyone from anywhere.
Scentered Aromatherapy Gift Set
Take the Scentered aromatherapy gift sets for example. These sets include a therapeutic candle made from a custom blend of natural waxes, are sustainably sourced and non-GM, with pure essentials oils for a clean burn and natural fragrance and a 5 gram balm which is 100% natural and also made from essential oils and is mess-free. You can choose from 6 different scents with each set designed to target a different emotion or to focus on a certain area including improving mood and aiding sleep. The sets cost £27.50 and they really do make beautiful gifts with a purpose.
Osmo Blinding Shine Hair care set
Or if you need to buy for someone who is more about the hair than the fragrances then how about the Osmo Blinding Shine hair care set that infuses your hair with a healthy burst of vitality and shine. The costs £19.58 and contains 3 great products;
Osmo Blinding Shine Shampoo in 400ml,
Osmon Blinding Shine Conditioner in 400ml
Osmo’s incredible 50ml Blinding Shine Serum.
The following products are from of my favourite brands that I have treated myself to numerous times now throughout the last year after first trying them out last Christmas. I’m talking about the magnesium products by BetterYou. I personally love the magnesium flakes that can be added to your bath to help soothe tired and aching muscles for the ultimate relaxation experience. You can either but a gift set like the one below which is the Good Nights Start here set for £24.95 that aims to help with sleep or opt for one that aims to help with sport performance and recovery or even create your own set from buying individual items that you think they would like. With prices from as little as £3.95 you can easily treat them to a few nice items and create a lovely little gift set yourself.
Leather Goods
Pencil case or make up bag from Scaramanga
Last year I was introduced to Scaramanga and now I have a few of their products including the below pencil case/make up bag. I use mine as a work pencil case and I absolutely love it. The quality of the leather is brilliant and it fit loads in too which is helpful as it is 20cm x 10cm x 4cm ( 8″ x 4″ x 1.5″) in size. It costs £12 and can be gifted as a multi functional gift to suit the needs of the recipient.
Or if you are not sold on the pencil case/make up bag but do think they would love a real leather treat then how about one of the lovely leather purses. They have a selection of shapes and sizes available some with lots of compartments for everyday use and some smaller ones designed for traveling or nights out. They are all made from distressed leather so each one looks slightly different and unique but equally as beautiful and have the amazing Scaramanga quality.
Bullet Journal Set
Journalling is something that has been around for years, however, the concept of bullet journalling is fairly new and is catching on very quickly. This set from Derwent is perfect for anyone that already loves to keep a bullet journal or for someone looking to start as it comes with everything you will need including
A5 Joural
4 Graphik Line Makers
Pen Wrap.
Clothing
Love leggings
I discovered Love leggings when pregnant and absolutely loved them but they don’t just cater for pregnant ladies instead they have a whole host of leggings in different sizes, styles and colours and I can personally vouch for how comfy they are and how good the quality is. So if you have a lady in your life that likes to wear leggings then these come highly recommended.
Blackspade Soft Touch nightie
This soft touch nightie from Blackspade really is soft to the touch and oh so comfortable, perfect for anyone that loves to sit back and relax in their nightwear. They also come in this lovely pink bag making them seem extra special this Christmas.
A New Smoothie maker
If you are buying for a lady who is health conscious, loves a smoothie or likes to experimenter in the kitchen then this Vonshef ultra blend smoothie maker will make the perfect gift. It has a powerful 1000W motor, 25,000 RPM speed and razor-sharp blades which extract and lock in nutrients for a super healthy, blended shake. It also comes with a BPA-free large and medium cup plus one spill-proof lid and one sip & seal lid and is dishwasher safe, lightweight and easy to carry and is only £34.99/.
Chocolates
Who doesn’t love chocolate at Christmas? If all else fails then I think buying a large tub of their favourite chocolates either as a stand alone gift or alongside some other items is a perfect Christmas treat and if you’re really lucky they may even share them with you.
Fiona Cairns Cakes
Poinsettia Fairy Cakes
If you are shopping for someone who loves a good cupcake then these Fiona Cairns cakes are a must have. They are hands down the most delicious cakes I have ever tested. The sponge is so light and fluffy and the icing despite looking like it was going to be hard was melt in the mouth soft, devine. You can order these in packs of 6 for £6.50 and they come so well packaged that you really don’t need to worry about them getting squashed in transit.
Christmas in a Tin
If Poinsettia fairy cakes aren’t their cup of tea then perhaps this amazing Christmas in a tin will be. This 5 inch Christmas cake topped with the finest marzipan and icing with a delicately cut-out snowflake design arrives in a lovely festive tin and looks like it cost a lot more than the £12 price tag.
Hope these ideas have helped you make your Christmas shopping purchases a bit easier this year. If you are still not sure what o buy then maybe these more specific guides will help
(Some of the above products were gifted to us for inclusion but all opinions are my own).
