ARRAN Sense Of Scotland Introduce A New Fragrance

ARRAN Sense of Scotland is a family run company based on the Isle of Arran that creates luxurious bath, body and home fragrance products. All of their fragrances are inspired by their surroundings on the beautiful island and now for the first time in 10 years they are introducing a new fragrance, Kildonan.

Kildonan is a coastal area situated in the far South of the Island of Arran. Its beaches are lined with silver sand, and large, rugged rock formations that create natural break waters which still the water’s surface. It is a most tranquil place and one that inspired the calming scent of the new Kildonan range that contains notes of violet, pea, Lily of the Valley, cedar, orris, ambrette and Cashmir wood.

The Kildonan range is currently available in the

Hand Wash – £16.00

Bath & Shower Gel – £16.00

Kildonan Review

I was very kindly sent the Kildonan soap bar and the Kildonan bath and shower gel to try. I am a huge fan of the Arran products and have used them myself for a couple of years now as well as buying them as gifts for others. Most recently opting for the £10 gift sets that contain 3 miniatures and a soap for the end of year teacher gifts, so I had high hopes for the new range and couldn’t wait to try it.

When the Kildonan products arrived my first impression was that as with all the Arran products they look nice, expensive and worthy of being on display in the bathroom, especially the box for the soap with it’s white and blue colouring that instantly made me think of the sea with the waves crashing against the shore.

When I used the new products I instantly noticed how lovely the new scent is. It is fresh yet relaxing and in my opinion a very unisex fragrance. The bath and shower gel is much stronger than the soap and for that reason I preferred the gel, however both products do what all the Arran products do and leave your skin feeling clean and fresh with the scent lasting long after you have washed it off.

If you are going to give the Arran products a try then I do recommend this new fragrance, the orris and violet leaf if like nothing I have ever smelt before and it is a lovely addition to an already wonderful collection of fragrances.
