Gifts for Dad this Father’s Day

Where has this year gone? It feels like only yesterday when I was writing our Christmas gift guides and not that long ago that I was creating last years father’s day gift guide. I am so glad that unlike last year we can plan to celebrate with our loved ones in person and inside! I am sure there will be lots of people enjoying exciting day trips over the weekend as well as some lovely meals in much missed restaurants. It also means that this year we can give our gifts for dad in person and with the shops back open it certainly makes shopping easier, although if you are like me you will still prefer to shop online and avoid the crowds. I have put together a gift guide which I hope you will find inspirational as it is packed full of gift ideas for the dads in your life.

Treasure Trails

With the ability to go out and about in groups again why not treat dad to a day he wont forget. A family treasure hunt. This is a brilliant and unique gift that puzzle loving dads can enjoy alone or better yet, as a family activity. These activities take you on a treasure trail around a 2 mile area in your chosen location. You will need to complete puzzles along the way based around local landmarks to solve the mystery or find the treasure. There are over 1,200 treasure trails to choose from and they cost £9.99 if you want to download and print off at home or £11.48 for the posted version, which I recommend as they look great especially if it’s a gift.

Aftershave

ARRAN Sense of Scotland have some wonderful men’s beauty products on offer. They are made in Scotland and  inspired by nature with each scent created to evoke memories of places you love: glens, meadows, falls and shores.

One of the wonderful things about ARRAN Sense of Scotland is that it doesn’t matter if you or your dad have never used them before and you don’t know what scent to choose as you can use their fragrance finder. This handy little quiz asks you some key questions about the recipient to help make sure you get the right fragrance for them.

If you are not sure about the aftershave then you should still check out ARRAN Sense of Scotland and complete the fragrance finder as they have lots of other lovely gift ideas in their Men’s Collection.  Their wash bags are priced at £45 and come full of products including

  • a full-sized Bath & Shower Gel,
  • After Shave Balm,

Unfortunately the word re opening does kind of mean we have to get ourselves out of our comfy lounge wear and into more formal attire on occasion, so why not treat your dad to a new belt. Scaramanga make gorgeous leather belts. Each one is lovingly created by a skilled leather craftworker using traditional tools and techniques and is hand-cut from extra thick brown distressed Hunter buffalo leather with an antique brass-style buckle.
