Easter Activities on the Wirral 2026

If you are looking for things to do over Easter with your family then here is a list of local events and Easter activities on the Wirral, some are free, others are paid for events and a few are free entry with additional costs for extra activities but everything you need to know is below.

Easter Trail – Port Sunlight

If you head to Port Sunlight on the 3rd and 4th April you will be able to hunt for the missing veg Billy Bunny has left scattered around Port Sunlight. It costs £8 per child (adults are free) time slots are bookable in advance between 10am and 3pm.  Tickets include a trail map, rabbit ears headband, and a chocolate reward.

Easter Egg Run – Wirral

On Sunday 22nd March the Egg Run will once again be taking place. This is a great opportunity for you and your family to line the streets of the Wirral and watch as hundreds of bikers ride the length of the Wirral, many in fancy dress. The Egg Run is an event that raises money for local charities. Riders can meet from 9.30am and will leave The Dips, Coastal Road, New Brighton at 11am.

They will take a 20-mile route through Wallasey Village, Moreton Cross, Moreton, Hoylake, West Kirby, Caldy, Heswall and Clatterbridge before finishing at Claremont Farm.

There will be a collection point at Claremont for people wanting to donate Easter eggs and cash donation points will be available at The Dips for Claire House Children’s Hospice, North West Air Ambulance, and Merseyside and Cheshire Blood Bikes.

Ness Botanic Gardens

This Easter on Thursday 2nd April you and the family can head to Ness Gardens for a family friendly workshop to create Easter themed crafts and decorate biscuits!

Each child will get to decorate 3 Easter themed biscuits and create a Easter craft to take home with them. 
The activities are designed for children aged 3 and over.

This activity is £6 per child and does not include access to Ness Gardens.
