Free Easter activities on the Wirral
Here is a list of free Easter activities that are taking place across the Wirral. It is advisable to book these in advance as most have limited spaces and will book up quickly.
Easter Egg Hunt at Birkenhead Priory
On Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of April between 11am and 3pm you can head to Birkenhead Priory and visit the museum and enjoy the Easter egg hunt for free. There will also be additional activities taking place including:
- Meet Terry and the Moonshine Owls
- Create your own beautiful jewellery with Beady Beady workshops
- Crafternoon family craft activities.
- Spring Nature Trails
A small fee may apply for some of these extra activities.

Easter Market Fun Day
On Saturday 8th April between 12 and 4pm you can head to Bee Early Years for their Easter fundraiser where there will be stalls, a mobile bar, food, mascots, live music, games, a bouncy castle and much more. It is free to enter but some activities will be chargable.

Easter Fun Day at Christ Church Community Parish Centre
On Saturday 8th April from 10am you can enjoy some Easter activities at Christ Church Community Parish Centre, Moreton. Yo will find Peter Rabbit ready to meet your children, free Easter egg hunt, over 21 local businesses displaying their goods and craft activities. It is free to enter but there will a charge for some stalls and activities.

Below is a list of Easter activities on the Wirral that you can pay for, the prices are all correct at time of writing.
Easter egg hunt at the Transport Museum
On Saturday 8th and Monday 10th of April you can take part in an Easter egg hunt at the Wirral Transport Museum. You must ride the tram (£2 adults £1 children) to receive your competition entry form and then head off to find the clues and receive an Easter egg on completion.

Clown Around Soft Play – Easter Bunny visit or crafts with Blippi
You can visit the Clown Around this Easter for some extra activities. On Monday 3rd April 2023 there will be an Easter Bunny visit between 12:30 and 2:30pm for £10 where every child will receive an Easter egg and on Wednesday 5th April 2023 you can enjoy some Easter crafts with Blippi for £8.50.

Easter Bonnet making
You and your little one can have fun making an Easter Bonnet at Bee Early Years on Wednesday 5th April for £6.

Easter Trail
If you head to Port Sunlight on Friday 7th or Saturday 8th April you can join in with the Easter Trail. It costs £5 pr child and you need to meet at the museum entrance between 9.30 and 3pm (time slots available when booking). All children will receive a chocolate treat on completion.
Mini’s Messy Play Easter Parties
On Monday 3rd and Wednesday 5th April there will Easter parties taking place at Mini’s Messy Play, Harrison Hall Wallasey. This will include a visit from the Easter Bunny with songs and dancing, messy play, a craft table and a chocolate treat all for £10.
Wonderland Parties and Events
Wonderland Parties and Events have a selection of Easter Activities taking place on the Wirral.
- Monday 11th April – messy play between 10-11 or 12:30-1.30pm for £4.50.
- Tuesday 12th April – Easter story explorers which includes a story, craft session and play between 10-11 0r 12:30-1:30pm for £4.50.
- Wednesday 13th April – Easter crafts where you can paint an Easter Egg or clay to take home between 10-11 and 12:30-1:30pm FREE with play entry.
- Thursday 14th April – Easter Egg Hunt betweem 10-11:30 or 1-2:30 or 3:30-5pm for £4.50
- Friday 15th April – Easter Party where you can meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy songs and games and take home a an Easter treat 10-11:30, 1-2:30 or 3:30-5pm for £8.
