They are easy to use and just require you to charge them, attach them to your bottle and then press the button twice, that’s it.
Our Review
This cap is like nothing I have seen before. I won’t lie, I found it very odd that I had to charge my water bottle before I could use it but if you like your water clean then it is definitely worth it for the piece of mind it gives you.
It is easy to charge as it comes with it’s own USB cable which you can connect to any USB outlet including plugs, sockets or even your lap top (perfect if it needs charging at work) and then even easier to use as you simply put the charged cap on your bottle like you wold any lid and then tap the top twice and it cleans the water for you using the ultra violet lights. Then throughout the day it will automatically clean every hour for 20 seconds to further sterilise it for you.
For me this was great at giving me piece of mind when I need to fill my bottle up but I wasn’t too sure about the taps I was using, such as in the local farm at their drinking station.
Absolute game changer!
We used it with the Zero Water on-the-go hydration bottle which it fitted to perfectly and I would also recommend. Not only did the lid mean my water was clean but the bottle itself also keeps the water cold for 24 hours so my water tasted fresh all day. If you prefer hot drinks this can also be used to keep drinks hot for up to 24 hours too, which I am sure I will be doing come Autumn when I’m on the football sidelines in the freezing cold once again.
If you like knowing your water is as clean as it can be then these LYT caps and Zero Water on-the-go hydration bottles are a great combination.
