Prezzo New Brighton | Review

Today we had the pleasure of being invited to Prezzo in New Brighton, and I have to say we were blown away, we were expecting your standard chain of Italian restaurant with nice but basic dishes but what we got was so much more. If you are looking for somewhere to eat, or even just relax with a glass of wine, in New Brighton, then here is everything you need to know about Prezzo and along with our full review and dish recommendations.

Prezzo New Brighton

Nestled right on the promenade with sweeping views across the River Mersey, Prezzo offers the perfect setting to relax and enjoy some seriously good Italian cuisine. Whether you’re out for a full meal, a light bite, or just looking to enjoy a drink in the sunshine, Prezzo’s location alone makes it worth the visit.

There is ample seating outside the front of the restaurant where you can enjoy the atmosphere and people watching of the main promenade hub as well as some additional seating to the rear of the restaurant that over looks the marina and the coast line if you want a more peaceful, scenic area.

Inside, Prezzo is decorated to a high standard, with a nice stylish aesthetic and on our visit we noticed that it was extremely clean throughout. We were seated by the window with views of the lighthouse which was lovely.

The main menu at Prezzo

Prezzo’s menu is packed with incredible dishes and there really is something for everyone. From stone-baked pizzas and hearty pastas to burgers, salads, and more, there’s no shortage of tempting choices. We opted for the Oven-Baked King Prawns and Italian Meatballs to start.

Both dishes were cooked to perfection and absolutely bursting with flavour and very good portion sizes too, a promising start that set the tone for the rest of the meal.

For our mains, we ordered the Crab and Lobster Ravioli and the Chicken Spaghetti Carbonara al Forno, accompanied by a side of tenderstem broccoli.

These dishes did not disappoint. In fact, the ravioli was hands down the best I’ve ever had, rich, delicate, and full of flavour. I am already planning our next visit so I can order it again!

If you choose to pop in at lunch time there is also a lunch time menu where you can grab a two or three course meal deal that features some of the classics.

Club Prezzo: Loyalty Has Its Rewards

As if the incredible food wasn’t enough, Prezzo have also introduced Club Prezzo, a new loyalty app that rewards you for dining with them. From discounted prices to exclusive freebies, it’s well worth joining before your next visit.
