Spring has sprung which means Mother’s Day is just around the corner and if you’re anything like me you will be sat there wondering what to buy your mum this year – well not any more as I have the answer! This year all mums deserve a pair of the British Boxers Brushed Cotton Pyjamas and here’s why…
What is British Boxers?
British Boxers started as a tiny company that sold – British Boxers – but 10 years on and they are now an impressive company that not only sells their very popular British Boxers but also some of the lushest pyjamas, gorgeous lounge wear sets, luxury ladies underwear as well as men’s and so much more. They are definitely a brand worth checking out if you haven’t already.
The British Boxers Brushed Cotton Pyjamas
One of their most popular products is their range of luxury nightwear and the ones that stand out this spring for Mother’s Day are the brushed cotton ones. These are made from 100% brushed cotton and available in sizes Petite – XXL in 5 different tartan combinations
- Glencoe – red and black
- Jura – blue and green
- Dumbarton – red and blue
- Burnet Rose – pink and green
- Gaia – red and green
The fibres in the cloth are dyed to British Boxers own colour specification, then brushed repeatedly, a process which makes them impossibly soft, and finally they are woven with skill to their in-house design.
The style comprises of a traditional rounded-collar jacket with a breast pocket, and tie-waist trousers with handy side pockets.
My review of the British Boxers Brushed Cotton Pyjamas
I have been wearing a pair of the Burnet Rose Tartan British Boxers Brushed Cotton Pyjamas for the last couple of days and I can say with complete certainty that they are some of the softest and comfiest pyjamas I have ever worn. They are thick without being too hot or heavy, soft to the touch and have an instant cosy feel about them makes you want to put them on and snuggle up.

I love the attention to detail too. The handy little breast pocket on the top and the nice deep side pockets on the legs are perfect for mums, who let’s face it, always need pockets for tissues, wrappers, random bits of lego they’re handed, and about 100 other different things at any given time!

I also found them to be true to size and a really good length. At 5″ 2 I’m used to my pyjama pants dragging on the floor but these aren’t too bad at all and I don’t need to worry about tripping over them but there is still a good few inches for those blessed with longer legs.
Overall I am loving the British Boxers Brushed Cotton Pyjamas and I think they would make the perfect gift for mum this Mother’s Day to encourage her to make some time for herself and really relax – I’m sure she deserves it.
