Investing in a good mattress is essential for both short term comfort and long term health. Research has shown that getting good quality sleep on a regular basis directly impacts your mood, memory, productivity, and overall well-being, and having the right mattress can massively impact your ability to get that high level sleep. We have recently reviewed the Original Hybrid Mattress by Simba and below you can find out what we really thought of it and whether we believe it’s a good investment or not.
Why invest in the Original Hybrid Mattress from Simba
A decent mattress helps maintain correct spinal alignment which reduces the risk of back and neck pain, and can also improve your circulation by distributing body weight more evenly. Because we spend roughly a third of our lives sleeping, a durable, high-quality mattress can also be a cost effective investment as they last longer and perform better than cheaper alternatives.
So why the Simba Hybrid Mattress?
Well firstly, it combines the best of both worlds as it has a plush foam layer for comfort, plus a core of patented Aerocoil® microsprings combined with extra deep Simbatex® foam that provide responsive support, proper spinal alignment, and pressure-relief for points like hips and shoulders making it both really comfortable but also supportive too.
Secondly, its design helps regulate temperature so you’re less likely to overheat and become restless during the night.
And finally it has a zip off cover makes for machine washable convenience.

Our review of the Original Hybrid Mattress by Simba
The first thing that stood out to us was the delivery, we ordered it on the Wednesday and it arrived by the Friday! This was amazing and it means if you suddenly find yourself needing a new mattress, either for yourselves or for the guest room you can have it delivered very quickly.
We were also impressed with how it was delivered in a small (ish) box. Considering it was a double mattress the box was definitely not a reflection of this and what was also great was that it meant we could easily carry it up the stairs to the bedroom without worrying about knocking the walls or manoeuvring it around the corners and fighting with door frames. The small box also means that it’s easy to store if you aren’t quiet ready to unpack it straight away too.
Getting it out of the box was also easy, you simply pull it out, lay it on the bed, remove the plastic wrapping and stand back whilst it expands. It does advise you to leave it for 6 hours before sleeping on it so my top tip is to set this up in the morning and then come back later in the day to make it up before bed.
The big question though is, is it comfy? Yes, it absolutely is, it’s soft enough to feel comfy but firm enough that you feel supported at the same time and it definitely offers up a good nights sleep.
Obviously it’s winter now so the chances of over heating are slim but we can confidently say that we didn’t feel too hot or too cold and trust that this is, in part, due to the temperature control technology used int he mattress.
Overall we are really impressed with the Hybrid Mattress by Simba, everything from delivery to comfort has been amazing and I love the fact that it also comes with a 10 year warranty so value for money is guaranteed and once you’re finished with its also fully recyclable.
Order yours today and make the most of the black Friday deals.
