Tracking your belongings has become increasingly popular in recent years and over the last couple of weeks we have been using one of the PAJ GPS trackers, the all round finder to track a few of our different items. Below is everything you need to know about the PAJ GPS tracker based on our experience.
What is the PAJ GPS tracker all round finder ?
PAJ have created a number of different GPS trackers to meet all your needs. Whether you want to track your dog, belongings or car there is a tracker for you. We have been using the All round finder which is designed to be used on larger items such as your car, luggage or bike. It can even be used to track a person if they pop it in their pocket. The all round finder works by using 4G and connecting to satellites to determine the position of the tracker which it then sends to the finder portal for you to monitor when ever you want. You can track your items from your laptop, iPad or even your smartphone if you download the app making it super quick and easy to use.
What do you get with the PAJ GPS tracker?
The PAJ GPS all round finder comes ready assembled in a box along with
- the instruction manual
- a USB charging wire
- USB wall charger
- a black leather pouch to hold the tracker
How to set up a PAJ GPS tracker
Set up is super easy. Once your tracker arrives you need to charge it for 8-12 hours. Whilst it is charging you can get to work setting it up online. In order to do that all you need to do is either scan the QR code in the instruction booklet or go to the starter portal and follow the instructions. You will also need to choose your GPS subscription, you can choose from one month, one year or two years depending on how often you will be using it. Prices start at £5.99 a month.
Once you have connected your device to a subscription plan you will be able to access a map that shows you were you device is either in the finder portal or on your app.
Using the PAJ GPS
Using the PAJ GPS tracker all round insider is really easy. As long as it is turned on you can log in to your account and see where the device is at any time. It will update every 30 seconds so you can follow the movements live if you wish. Not only that but the map will also show you how fast the device and your belongings are moving which will indicate if it is in a moving vehicle, with some one on foot or stationary. Very helpful if you believe your item/tracker has been stolen.
Once fully charges the tracker can last for an average of 20 days without needing to be recharged. Obviously this can be less if you are are using is on a regular basis during that time.
As well as being able to easily locate he tracker and what it is attached to there are also added features which include
Recording data for 100 days
Records routes, speed and dates
Allows you to set up a geofence and sends you an alarm if it goes outside of these perimeters
People are using trackers more and more these days. From trackers for their dogs in case they run off or are stolen, to trackers for expensive and precious belongings and this is without a doubt the easiest one we have ever used, from set up through to the tracking process itself.
There are so many ways in which you can use this but for me I think the PAJ GPS tracker is perfect for travelling. It can be used in your suitcase or, more importantly, with any expensive items you need to take abroad with you such as a bike, ski equipment or even your wedding dress. Unfortunately, these items can get lost in transit and trying to get the airline to take responsibility can be difficult but not as difficult as it can be to get them to relocate the items and get them to you in time. With the PAJ GPS tracker, should any of your items go missing from one airport to another you will be able to see exactly where it is which is definitely going to help in ensuring you are reunited with them asap.
