My husband and I booked a last minute trip to Szczecin, Poland, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We only stayed for 1 night and booked a one bed apartment in Hanza Tower for £85 via booking.com. This was not a press trip or a gifted stay but when we doing our own research for the trip I found very little information about things to do in Szczecin and and only a handful of reviews for places to stay, so I wanted to write our own review of Hanza Tower in Szczecin to help anyone else looking for accommodation in the city.

Hanza Tower in Szczecin, Poland, is a prominent residential skyscraper standing at 125 meters with 34 floors, including four underground levels. Our Review of Hanza Tower in Szczecin
The first thing we noticed about Hanza Tower was the customer service, I was contacted via whatsapp prior to our stay checking that the apartment that had been selected was ok. We were then contacted again the day before we flew out wishing us a nice stay and giving us the access codes to the building. This made me feel reassured that that booking had definitely gone through, that Hanza Tower definitely existed and that we wouldn’t turn up to any nasty surprises. It also showed me that the staff (or at least some) spoke English and would be able to help us if needed.
When we arrived we spent a few hours exploring Szczecin before heading to the apartment which was ideally located near the city centre. The entrance was impressive, large and clean and although the reception area was maned we did’t need to use this as all the access information had been messaged to us in advance making check in quick and easy, we simply went straight to the apartment and let ourselves in.
The apartment itself was even nicer than we had anticipated. It was stylish and bigger than expected with everything we could need for a one night (or longer) stay. The layout was open plan with the bedroom, living room and kitchenet altogether yet somehow it still felt spacious.

Having been out exploring for a few hours before checking in we were very grateful for the complementary water and coffee in the room and enjoyed these on the balcony before getting changed and heading back out. Our room was on the fourth floor so we didn’t have a great view but that was fine with us. If you specifically want a view of the city then before to mention this in your booking as they will accommodate this with a room on a higher floor.
The bathroom was also lovely and clean with a large shower and having two dressing gowns to use was also a real bonus and once again an extra touch we were very grateful for.

Despite only staying one night we still wanted to check out the pool facilities and again we were blown away by them. The pool was much bigger than we expected and the addition of the sauna and steam room were great.
Overall we had a wonderful stay at Hanza Tower apartments, would definitely book again if we were to return to the city and would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Szczecin. Not only was it a great location, brilliant size, very clean and has the addition of a pool but it was also an incredible price.
Top tip – if you are looking for somewhere quick and easy for food then we can highly recommend the pizza place next to Hanza Tower, the pizzas are delicious and you can have them to take out and enjoy in the apartment if you don’t want to sit in.
