Seven Bro7hers Beer House Liverpool | Review

Seven Bro7hers, as you may have guessed, was founded by seven brothers in Salford you were brought up by a Dad that loved to brew his own beer in their home cellar. The brothers wanted to work together and so, naturally, beer is where they turned. They opened a brewery and tap room first and then expended to the empire they have now which consists of 4 beer houses across the country, the box on the docks in Manchester, an airport ale house and Square Chapel in Halifax, not to mention all the other places world wide where their fantastic brews are sold.

Seven Bro7hers beer House opened in Liverpool in May 2022. It is situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre in Wolstenholme Square and is perfect for those that want to relax and enjoy a nice beer or two. The design of the bar is quite simple and laid back, making you feel instantly relaxed and the building is light and airy with lots of seating both up and downstairs. At the bar you will find a selection of Seven Bro7hers beers on draught, with more available in cans along with a selection of Seven Bro7hers stouts too and if you don’t like beer then don’t worry as they also stock the fours sisters gins (yes they are related) and a selection of wines.

Seven Bro7hers review

We were invited over to Seven Bro7hers Liverpool to try a selection of their beers, stouts and food.

We tried three different beers

  • Honeycomb pale ale which was both of our favourites, slightly sweet and very easy to drink
  • Watermelon wheat beer which was nice but hard to describe. There was a fruity element to it but not overly watermelon, maybe a hint of strawberry two.
  • and The Pilsner, the most popular one which was slightly heavier and more of a typical larger taste, very refreshing.

My husband who enjoys a good stout also tried the chocolate honeycomb stout and said it was delicious. In fact he thought it was that nice that he bought himself a couple to take home with us when we left!

The Seven Bro7hers food

The food at Seven Bro7hers comes from a simple menu, basically just burgers and kebabs, which of course go great with a nice beer. However, these are not greasy burgers and kebabs but instead are great tasting, freshly cooked flavoursome meals.

I ordered the minted lamb burger which is served with feta cheese and jalapenos on a brioche bun. It was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection.

My husband ordered the Tandoori chicken kebab which looked incredible and a far cry from the kebab I imagined was going to arrive. It was packed full of chicken, onion and peppers ad served on a flat bread with a garlic yoghurt, it too tasted incredible.

We would highly recommend both of these options and were also impressed to notice that despite it being a relatively small menu, they also have both vegetarian and vegan burgers and kebab options too.

Overall we loved out visit to Seven Bro7hers, both the beer and the food was excellent as was the customer service and we will definitely be heading back again soon.
