Best Bars In Liverpool

Liverpool is it quite simply one of my all time favourite cities, which is helpful seen as though it is only 40 minutes up the road from us. I love Liverpool mainly for it’s diversity. There is literally something for everyone with so much choice from family days out, couples retreats, shopping trips and nights out, not to mention their abundance of cultural festivals and museums. Most of our trips to Liverpool have been with the children so when we decided to venture over recently I didn’t know where to go for some child free drinks. So I turned to the locals and they gave me all their recommendations which I have used to create a list of the best bars in Liverpool, below.

My favourite bar in Liverpool

One of our favourite bars in Liverpool One is the Bierkeller, which we visited for the first time last year and loved. We were made to feel welcome as a family from the minute we entered and noticed that there were a number of other families there too. The Bierkeller is a German bar which means that the menu is made up of German foods which I thought would be a problem for our picky eaters but instead they loved their choices and have since asked to go back. The Bierkeller is split into different sections, a family friendly bar with TV screens, an outdoor area, a games area which is aimed more at adults and also a party room. When we visited we were lucky enough to experience one of their themed events which was a Harry Potter screening complete with full decorations, Harry Potter snacks and drinks and of  course a screening on a massive screen.

However if you are looking for a bottomless afternoon tea then it has to be Ma Boyles as there prosecco based cocktails are incredible!

Now for what the locals think……
