When we were asked if we would like to try out and then write a Dozy Dogs review I just knew I had to agree, the tiddler is dog mad and loves anything to do with puppies or dogs and is probably the sole reason why I eventually caved and agreed we could get a family dog.
Dozy dogs is a creative activity that consist of
3 different sized dogs
3 ready cut pieces of felt
3 felt pens
a selectin of felt stickers.
The idea is that you design your own puppies and then make their beds; simplistic, easy and fun.
The tiddler and I set to work, I was allowed the mummy dog and he designed the puppy and the daddy and we had such a nice time giving them little pink noses and various splodges of colour. The tiddler absolutely loved it and put some very serious thought into the design process.
At 5 he found the beds a little difficult to make himself so I did them for him but he still enjoyed putting all the dogs to bed, and fixing their eye masks so they could get to sleep. Of course he had to name them, he chose Theo, Poppy and Benjamin and he sat and played with the long after we had finished creating them.
This set is a really nice idea and would make a great gift for a birthday. If your child is over the age of 7 I think they could do it all on their own unsupervised if they wanted to but any younger than that and they may need some help with the beds but f they love crafting or are dog mad like mine then they will have hours of fun with this.
Dozy dogs are available from Amazon for the very reasonable price of £9.99. There is also a cat version available too.
(We were sent this toy in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.)
