As today is National Prosecco day it seems only right to celebrate in style with a Bradfords Bakers prosecco savoury basket. Bradfords Bakers offer a whole host of hampers, baskets and other baked goods that make brilliant gifts for others or even treats for yourself. One such gift idea is their afternoon tea that we recently reviewed, which is perfect for those that love a sweet treat. This time however, we thought we would try their savoury basket.
What is in the Bradfords Bakers prosecco savoury basket?
Well first of all let me point out that it actually arrives in the wicker basket! This to me is a real bonus as I have often gone to order hampers only to find out they arrive in a box looking more random and dishevelled than the beautiful hamper pictured on screen. Not the case here though as all the items arrive wrapped in tissues in side the actual hamper.
So what’s inside
- Prosecco 20cl Bottle
- Bradfords Grannys Best Pickle 113g
- Stag Salt and Black Pepper Water Biscuits 150g
- Isle of Arran Cheese Truckle with Claret 200g
- Bradfords Hot Tomato Chutney 113g
- Duck Pate 90g
Presentation is key and the basket definitely makes this look like a wonderful gift. There is more than enough cheese, pate, chutney and crackers for two people and the 20cl bottle of prosecco is just enough for one glass each. The pate is delicious and, after the prosecco of course, was probably my favourite item in the basket and I ill be looking to see if I can order this as a separate item for our Christmas cheese board.
If you are looking to get a treat for two delivered but are a bit bored of the afternoon teas or just want something a bit more savoury than sweet then this it is, the Bradfords Bakers prosecco savoury basket. Or you could aso order t for yourself as it would be perfect for taking on a walk as a grown up picnic alternative .
It costs £29.90 which I think is great value for money for a gift for two and not only can it be delivered nationwide it can actually be delivered internationally too!
