Omega 3 and 6 are important for everyone but especially for children as they’re constantly taking in new information and learning new skills both in school and at extra curriculum activities which is why it is vital that children are having their recommended amount  if they are to succeed in school.

The Equazen products are great as they provide you with an easy way to up your intake of these essential fatty acids because despite most of us knowing how important they are and that they can be sourced from eating the recommended two portions of fish each week, there are few families that actually manage to do this on a regular basis.

Our review of Equazen

We were originally sent some of the Equazen children’s liquid for review and I have since replaced this bottle and also bought the Equazen family capsules and plan to continue with this for the foreseeable future. That is how confident I am the product and how happy I am to recommend them.

As I mentioned we started with the Equazen children’s liquid. This is an oil based liquid that is flavoured with a citrus flavouring to mask the fish taste. Neither of my boys will take this straight from the spoon as they do not like the taste or the texture. However, both boys will take this in a glass with a small amount of juice.

Once we finished the first bottle as well as ordering a second from amazon I also ordered the family capsules and found that my eldest son prefer to take these, as do I. They are easy to swallow and have no taste and have fast become part of our morning routine, the younger one prefers the liquid with juice.

As a mum I know myself how hard it can be to make sure your children are eating everything they should be day in day out. From 5 portions of fruit and veg a day to two portions of a fish a week (and I’m not sure the chippy counts!), not to mention drinking enough milk and water and getting all the recommended vitamins they need. So knowing that daily supplements are available is a great way to put mine and other families minds at rest, especially for those who have fussy eaters or specific dietary requirements or allergies who may find it even harder.

 Benefits of Equazen

Both children have been a little bit calmer and seem to be able to focus better and for longer since taking Equazen. This has been especially apparent with my eldest as he has been studying for the 11 plus exam which has involved tutor sessions and practice papers.

For myself I have seen an improvement in my hair skin and nails. But more importantly it is the fact that taking Equazen keeps me piece of mind that my family are getting all the Omega 3 and 6 that thy need.
