Books

Maybe your mum likes to read, like me, and likes to escape into a land of make believe away from the reality of work and parenting worries every so often. If not why not treat them to a new selection of books such as these Novellas by Tony Drury, short stories inspired by iconic cinema classics. They will bring back the nostalgia of watching the classics whilst adding new twists and turns to keep you on engaged.

Lunch With Harry: Volume 1 (Novella Nostalgia) is based on one of my own personal favourites, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and is available for £5.99 on Amazon along with other titles by Tony Drury.

Craft sets

If your mum loves to get her craft on then these two sets are just what you are looking for and will make the perfect gift. Choose from a make your own clasp purse set which comes complete with everything you need to create your own purse, or opt for a letter embroidery hoop set where you can choose at letter of the alphabet and create a lovely embroidery design to hang in the house. Which ever one you choose they will be sure to supply mum with a few much needed hours of relaxation and enjoyment making something pretty and maybe even learning a new skill. Both sets are available from Crafter’s companion with the clasp purse costing £14.95 and the embroidery hoop costing £9.95
