What To Buy Your Mum This Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is on Sunday 19th March this year and if you are still wondering what to buy your Mum then check out our latest Mother’s Day Gift Guide below for some inspiration. This year we have a real selection of gift ideas to suit all mums and all bank balances!

Jewellery

Jewellery can make for a wonderful gift. You can chose pieces that will be worn daily or those that are just for special occasions, personalised keepsakes  or more elegant and timeless items. The trick, however, is knowing what your mum likes. Here we have three very different pieces to help inspire you and of course if these aren’t quite right then do check out the websites for each brand for further more inspiration.

MYRI

First up is this exquisite Triple Gold Russian Rings necklace from a new jewellery brand, MYRI. You can have each ring personalised for free with a different word or name if you want, so if you are buying this as a gift for someone who has three children or three grandchildren then it would work perfectly. However it still looks beautiful left empty or with only one or two rings engraved.

Joma Jewellery

The next piece is a combination of gold and silver, ideal for mums that prefer a silver chain. It is from the Secret sentiment lockets collection and is named heart of gold from Joma Jewellery. It has a silver outer heart with a gold heart inside which is inscribed with heart of gold.

If you think your mum already has enough necklaces then how about the Wellness Gem Rose Quartz bracelet also from Joma Jewellery. This piece has been carefully designed to radiate positivity and encourage beautiful mantras into your life. The Wellness Gem bracelet is finished with real semi-precious rose quartz stones and a golden wellness charm that’s intricately inscribed with this bracelet’s powerful property – positivity, love and compassion.

Medieya

Meideya are another brilliant jewellery brand that have some simple yet elegant pieces. They are perfect for mums that prefer a classic look and opt for pieces that can go with a number of different outfits. A couple of my favourites include the water drop CZ gold hoop earrings that are the perfect size to work day or night to help complete a look.

And the triple layer chain necklace that is made up of three different chain designs and is 18k gold plated stainless steel base waterproof and tarnish free.

Chocolates

You can’t go wrong with a nice box of chocolates and Guylian Belgian chocolates are definitely a nice box of chocolates. Whether these are a stand alone gift or a little something extra to go alongside another present they will be sure to put a smile on her face. Guylian Master’s Selection is a premium assortment of Belgian mini pralinés filled with a variety of exotic flavours and topped off with the finest ingredients. The only question is, will your mum share these with you or do you need to buy an extra box for yourself?

Or, if your mum is over 50 then perhaps she would prefer something a little bit different such as Forward After 50 The Rising Reinventors by Rebecca Ronane all about embracing your age and reinventing yourself. It might be just the gift she needs to regain her super powers, channel her thoughts and push forward with the next chapter of her life.

If your mum is more of a writer than a reader hen how about treating her to a new journal, or better yet the New Start Journal Set that also includes a micro pigma pen, a Faber Castell  pencil and set of eraser caps from The Ink Pot. There hard back luxury journals come in a range of colours and designs with everything from sea horses to stars, thistles to song birds and so many more beautiful options you are sure to find the one that best suits your mum.

Candles make beautiful gifts, either on their own or as part of a gift set, and the candles in the Signature Collection at The Copenhagen Company are just perfect. They are stylish, relaxing and smell amazing with a great selection of scents to choose from including berries, vanilla and ink peony.  Their white glass jars with mirrored lids means they will add a touch of luxury to any room regardless of decor and they are available in three sizes with prices starting from as little as £13.
