Mother’s Day is on Sunday 19th March this year and if you are still wondering what to buy your Mum then check out our latest Mother’s Day Gift Guide below for some inspiration. This year we have a real selection of gift ideas to suit all mums and all bank balances!
Jewellery can make for a wonderful gift. You can chose pieces that will be worn daily or those that are just for special occasions, personalised keepsakes or more elegant and timeless items. The trick, however, is knowing what your mum likes. Here we have three very different pieces to help inspire you and of course if these aren’t quite right then do check out the websites for each brand for further more inspiration.
First up is this exquisite Triple Gold Russian Rings necklace from a new jewellery brand, MYRI. You can have each ring personalised for free with a different word or name if you want, so if you are buying this as a gift for someone who has three children or three grandchildren then it would work perfectly. However it still looks beautiful left empty or with only one or two rings engraved.
The next piece is a combination of gold and silver, ideal for mums that prefer a silver chain. It is from the Secret sentiment lockets collection and is named heart of gold from Joma Jewellery. It has a silver outer heart with a gold heart inside which is inscribed with heart of gold.
If you think your mum already has enough necklaces then how about the Wellness Gem Rose Quartz bracelet also from Joma Jewellery. This piece has been carefully designed to radiate positivity and encourage beautiful mantras into your life. The Wellness Gem bracelet is finished with real semi-precious rose quartz stones and a golden wellness charm that’s intricately inscribed with this bracelet’s powerful property – positivity, love and compassion.
Meideya are another brilliant jewellery brand that have some simple yet elegant pieces. They are perfect for mums that prefer a classic look and opt for pieces that can go with a number of different outfits. A couple of my favourites include the water drop CZ gold hoop earrings that are the perfect size to work day or night to help complete a look.
And the triple layer chain necklace that is made up of three different chain designs and is 18k gold plated stainless steel base waterproof and tarnish free.
You can’t go wrong with a nice box of chocolates and Guylian Belgian chocolates are definitely a nice box of chocolates. Whether these are a stand alone gift or a little something extra to go alongside another present they will be sure to put a smile on her face. Guylian Master’s Selection is a premium assortment of Belgian mini pralinés filled with a variety of exotic flavours and topped off with the finest ingredients. The only question is, will your mum share these with you or do you need to buy an extra box for yourself?
Chocolate with benefits
If you want to treat your mum to some chocolates but you know she is heath conscious and won’t necessarily appreciate a full box then why not opt for the ohso good chocolates. These handy little packs contain 7 daily bars of chocolate that are full of live cultures and contain no added sugar. There are several flavours available including
Dark with Orange
Dark with Raspberry.
Alcohol free Gin
Alcohol free spirits are becoming more and more popular at the moment and Clean Co have just the one for your mum this Mother’s Day, the Clean G Rhubarb, a gin alternative. It is packed full of botanicals and full of flavours including fruity rhubarb, juniper, and citrus with a subtle hint of coriander, mint and cinnamon. It tastes delicious poured over ice and serviced with your favourite tonic and best of all it is vegan friendly, lactose and gluten free too.
If your mum loves to read then why not treat her to a new book or three. You could opt for something by her favourite author or introduce her to someone new such as Ross Patrick and his A new dark age.
Or, if your mum is over 50 then perhaps she would prefer something a little bit different such as Forward After 50 The Rising Reinventors by Rebecca Ronane all about embracing your age and reinventing yourself. It might be just the gift she needs to regain her super powers, channel her thoughts and push forward with the next chapter of her life.
If your mum is more of a writer than a reader hen how about treating her to a new journal, or better yet the New Start Journal Set that also includes a micro pigma pen, a Faber Castell pencil and set of eraser caps from The Ink Pot. There hard back luxury journals come in a range of colours and designs with everything from sea horses to stars, thistles to song birds and so many more beautiful options you are sure to find the one that best suits your mum.
Candles make beautiful gifts, either on their own or as part of a gift set, and the candles in the Signature Collection at The Copenhagen Company are just perfect. They are stylish, relaxing and smell amazing with a great selection of scents to choose from including berries, vanilla and ink peony. Their white glass jars with mirrored lids means they will add a touch of luxury to any room regardless of decor and they are available in three sizes with prices starting from as little as £13.
If your mum is anything like me she will definitely appreciate some new face creams this Mother’s day and here we have a few different brands to help inspire you.
Transformulas is an award winning skincare and beauty brand. They have several amazing products that can be bought individually, however, they have also created two gift sets specifically for Mother’s Day.
Or they have the Marine Queen set, pictured below, which contains their iconic signature Marine Miracle Creme and the Marine Miracle EyeZone. These are perfect for those that want to smooth, soothe, hydrate and reduce fine lines. This set is so good the Marine Miracle Creme has even been labelled “better than a knife” by Woman & Home Magazine & “Botox in a Jar” by Daily Mail.
The second beauty brand that is bound to put a smile on your mums face this Mother’s Day is COSRX. They create beauty products that are paraben, artificial fragrance, artificial dye, alcohol, mineral oils and essential oil free. They have a numerous products to chose from but one of their most popular ones is the Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask. This incredible mask is enriched with more than 87% propolis extract and natal beeswax to ensure it offers an intensive hydration and refreshing moisturising experience.
The Organic Pharmacy
The third skincare range I wan to share with you is The Organic Pharmacy and their Rejuvenating Skincare kit.
This is the skincare routine starter kit for a brighter, smoother, more youthful, glowing and hydrated complexion. It contains
Antioxidant cleansing jelly

Another wonderful brand that produces affordable products that look and feel luxurious is Bedew. The Pink Clay Glow Up Mask is also a cruelty free beauty product so great for the eco friendly, animal loving mums amongst us.
Arran Hand Care Set
If your mum likes beauty products but you are unsure about face creams or new routines then how about something like the Arran Hand Care Set. There are currently 5 different fragrances available in the hand care sets including the one pictured below which is the gorgeous grapefruit and green leaf. Each set contains a 300ml bottle of hand wash and a 300ml bottle of hand cream. Both products smell divine and really feel like luxury products. If you are not familiar with the Arran brand then do have a look at their website. All their products are inspired by the natural beauty that can be found on the Isle of Arran and are made in Scotland.
Bamboo Lace Pyjamas
Nothing says relax like a set of luxury bamboo lace pyjamas and these ones from Pretty You London are available in three different colours and in sizes 8-20. They are made for sustainably sourced bamboo viscose making them irresistibly soft on the skin and so comfy your mum wont want to take them off. If you are looking for a gift that is stylish and luxurious then this is it.
If your mum is more in to her interior design than skin care and jewellery, or perhaps she has a special reading chair that is just crying out for a new cushion, then have a look at Marokka. They currently have an animal and world grey and yellow cushion collection that is stylish yet fun. On one side is a word and on the other an animal or shape. All of the cushions are made from organic cotton and the inner cushion is made from 100% recycled drinks bottles so they are eco-friendly too.
There are 3 different designs in the set and you can either buy just one or the full collection.
A Memory Montage
These beautiful, framed, photo montages from Memory Montage make wonderful gifts that will keep mum smiling all year long. You can select 13 of your favourite photos, 1 large 12 small, and they will printed to a very high standard using good quality card and inks and displayed in either a white or black frame with the Happy Mother’s Day text across the bottom. If you prefer to have a plain montage with no text then that can also be arrange.
Now all you have to do is narrow down your favourite pictures…
A Photo Calendar
We may already be three months in to the new year but if your mum doesn’t already have a desktop calendar then a personalised one full of family photos will make the sweetest gift. There are lots of designs to choose from over at Cewe with the option to have larger photos or a larger diary section so you can pick what will best work for them.
Something for the garden
If your mum finds peace in her garden and loves to spend time out there admiring her flowers, reading her book or simply soaking up the sun then how about one of these beautiful solar wall plaques from Flory’s Online to brighten up their happy place in the evening too. There are over 60 lovely designs to choose from like the gorgeous ‘Our Garden’ sign below to more personalised ones which feature hobbies, animals or even football teams. There is the perfect light for your mum just waiting to be ordered.
Red Letter Days Voucher
If you want to treat mum to an experience rather than a gift then I highly recommend you have a look at Red Letter Days. They have over 6,000 gift experiences to choose from including afternoon teas and sky diving, nights away and driving experiences and everything in between. Whatever your mum is in to you are bound to find something for them. You might even want to buy a voucher for two and enjoy some quality time together doing something you will both enjoy, after all memories are priceless.
A Prezzee Gift Card
If you are still drawing a blank as to what to buy your mum this Mother’s Day, or you need to be able to send it electronically then how about a Prezzee gift card. You can choose a value between £5 and £500 and they can then log on to the website and convert that gift card in to one or more gift vouchers for over 150 retailers. With options that cover everything from Amazon to Costa Coffee, John Lewis to Air B n B, New Look to Just Eat, there really is the perfect gift voucher for every mum on there. What’s even better is that you can even personalise the voucher so that when they open the email they can watch a personalised video or listen to a voice message and be greeted by a photo of you!
For the mum to be
If you are buying a Mother’s Day gift for a mum to be or a new mum then we have the perfect suggestion, a Pamper Gift Box from Little Butterfly London. This beautiful set contains three skincare products and a washcloth which are lovingly presented in a stunning keep-sake gift box.
And don’t forget the cards
You can pick up a mother’s Day card in most supermarkets if you leave it till the last minute but why not be organised this year and opt for a personalised card from Maloni’s that clearly shows you were thinking of mum in advance. As a mum myself I can assure you that a thoughtful gift or card will be much appreciated. Maloni’s have some lovely designs to choose from and you can of course personalise them with you own family names making them even more special.
They even do Mother’s Day cards from bumps and pets too!
I hope this has helped you to decide what to buy your mum this Mother’s Day.
