It may only be September but summer is already starting to feel like a distant memory and those super organised people among us will very soon, if they haven’t already, be starting to not only think about Christmas but will be bagging up those early bird tickets for all the best festive events coming our way this winter. One such event that is not to be missed and that is bound to sell out quickly is The Snowman Tour 2019.
Last year we were very lucky to be invited to watch The Snowman Tour at Warrington Parr Hall and despite being unsure what the children would make of a performance that involved a live orchestra performance I can confirm that all 4 of us really enjoyed it and it was one of my personal favourites when I look back over our 2018 Christmas activities. So I was more than thrilled when we were invited to return this year to the Liverpool showing which will take place at Liverpool Cathedral, a venue I haven’t visited before and am excited to see.
The Snowman Tour, if you aren’t already familiar with it, is a magical event for the whole family where you will be treated to a showing of the world famous Snowman cartoon being played on a big screen accompanied by an orchestra. It really is one of those shows that makes your hairs stand up on end. In addition to watching the Snowman you will also be treated to one of three other popular children’s animations – The bear and the piano, A donkeys tale or the nutcracker depending on which location you book.
The Snowman Tour will be travelling the country between 2nd December 2019 and 30th December 2019 visiting 13 different locations so be sure to check out where your nearest performance is.
We have since watched The Snowman Tour at the Liverpool Cathedral so feel free to read that review too.
(We have been gifted a family ticket to a performance in exchange for preview post and a review post).
