Where has this year gone? It feels like only yesterday when I was writing our Christmas gift guides and not that long ago that I was creating last years father’s day gift guide. Yet here we are planning for Father’s Day 2021. I am so glad that unlike last year we can plan to celebrate with our loved ones in person and inside! I am sure there will be lots of people enjoying exciting day trips over the weekend as well as some lovely meals in much missed restaurants. It also means that this year we can give our gifts for dad in person and with the shops back open it certainly makes shopping easier, although if you are like me you will still prefer to shop online and avoid the crowds. I have put together a gift guide which I hope you will find inspirational as it is packed full of gift ideas for the dads in your life.
With the ability to go out and about in groups again why not treat dad to a day he wont forget. A family treasure hunt. This is a brilliant and unique gift that puzzle loving dads can enjoy alone or better yet, as a family activity. These activities take you on a treasure trail around a 2 mile area in your chosen location. You will need to complete puzzles along the way based around local landmarks to solve the mystery or find the treasure. There are over 1,200 treasure trails to choose from and they cost £9.99 if you want to download and print off at home or £11.48 for the posted version, which I recommend as they look great especially if it’s a gift.
ARRAN Sense of Scotland have some wonderful men’s beauty products on offer. They are made in Scotland and inspired by nature with each scent created to evoke memories of places you love: glens, meadows, falls and shores.
One of the wonderful things about ARRAN Sense of Scotland is that it doesn’t matter if you or your dad have never used them before and you don’t know what scent to choose as you can use their fragrance finder. This handy little quiz asks you some key questions about the recipient to help make sure you get the right fragrance for them.
If you are not sure about the aftershave then you should still check out ARRAN Sense of Scotland and complete the fragrance finder as they have lots of other lovely gift ideas in their Men’s Collection. Their wash bags are priced at £45 and come full of products including
a full-sized Bath & Shower Gel,
After Shave Balm,
Shave Gel and
all presented in a grey durable cotton canvas wash bag that has a water-resistant inner layer.
An illustrated Mug
If dad is a keen camper or you have your fist camping holiday booked then how about a beautifully illustrated water coloured enamel mug. There are lots of designs to choose from, my favourite is the Lake district one, and at only £14 they are a bargain gift for dad. Go your own way have a whole host of adventure related gift ideas, with a large focus on the lake distract with some lovely art work on their products.
Conscious chocolates are gorgeous, their flavoured bars are delicious and I am really excited to be able to share with you that they have brought out a new range of chocolate covered fruit and nuts, the chocolate covered nibble selection, to be precise. It includes Chocolate Brazil Nuts, Salted Chocolate Dates and Chocolate Orange Figs all available in 50g boxes. They are all vegan friendly, organic, gluten, soya, dairy and refined sugars free. Making these the best sweet treat for the health conscious dads out there.
A leather belt
Unfortunately the word re opening does kind of mean we have to get ourselves out of our comfy lounge wear and into more formal attire on occasion, so why not treat your dad to a new belt. Scaramanga make gorgeous leather belts. Each one is lovingly created by a skilled leather craftworker using traditional tools and techniques and is hand-cut from extra thick brown distressed Hunter buffalo leather with an antique brass-style buckle. They also arrive in the cutest bags!
Perhaps your dad likes to be well groomed, in which case a new shaving brush will be just the thing. The clear confidence company have brought out a synthetic shaving brush that is 100% vegan friendly and plastic free so perfect for all the eco conscious dads out there. At only £14.97 this is sure to put a smile on your face too.
Gentleman’s beard kit
If your dad is more of a beard man than a clean shaven man then the Gentleman’s beard kit from Kikkerland will make a lovely gift. It contains
10ml Beard oil
1 Pear wood comb
1 stainless steel scissors
and comes in a cute little tin to keep them all safe and tidy.
Taskmaster Board Game
For the game loving dads out there how about Taskmaster, a family board game filled with hilarious tasks that will have the whole family laughing all evening. This game is based on the BAFTA winning Channel 4 TV show hosted by the mountainous Greg Davies and his assistant Little Alex Horne and is suitable for those aged 8 and over.
Wine and cheese slate hamper
You could team the taskmaster games night with a few special treats and snacks like this indulgent wine and cheese slate hamper from Buy A Gift. It contains

A new Bag
If your dad is stylish then he will love the items on offer at Trendhim. And if he isn’t, then maybe he could be, with a little helping hand from you in the form of a new bag for Father’s Day. Trendhim have lots of items to choose from including this dark grey canvas satchel. This satchel is made from canvas and genuine leather and is nice and roomy, easily big enough to carry your lap top, with additional compartments on both the outside and the inside and is surprisingly affordable at £49.
The ultimate experience voucher
If you really want to spoil your dad this father’s day then the ultimate treat has got to be an experience voucher from red letter days. They have so many to choose from including action packed days out to nights away but I think the majority of dads will be over the moon with a round of golf for two at St. Andrews. What a treat.
However you choose to spend your Father’s Day I hope you all have a wonderful day.
