If you don’t like the finished result simply wash them and start again. There are lots of different sets to choose from but in our Dozy Dogs set we got

The idea is that you design your own puppies and then make their beds; simplistic, easy and fun.

Our review of the Dozy Dogs set

The tiddler and I set to work, I was allowed the mummy dog and he designed the puppy and the daddy. We had such a nice time giving them little pink noses and various splodges of colour. The tiddler absolutely loved it and put some very serious thought into the design process.

At 5 he found the beds a little difficult to make himself so I did them for him but he still enjoyed putting all the dogs to bed, and fixing their eye masks so they could get to sleep.  Of course he had to name them, he chose Theo, Poppy and Benjamin and he sat and played with them long after we had finished creating them.

This set is a really nice idea and would make a great gift for a birthday or Christmas.

If your child is over the age of 7 I think they could do it all on their own unsupervised if they wanted to but any children younger than that may need some help with the beds.

Overall these are a great idea. Fun to do, easy (ish) to make and take about 45 minutes to an hour to complete. However, you can play with them long after you have finished designing them.

Dozy dogs are available from Amazon for the very reasonable price of £9.99. There is also a cat version available too.
