Running End To End | 874 Miles In A Year | Eight Months In

September 7, 2021 admin 1

Eight months in. Wow I can’t actually believe that we are eight months into the year or that we have actually stuck with the running for eight solid months now! August has been jam packed with summer holiday fun. We went been down South and then all the way up North to Scotland, not quite Lands End to John O’Groats but it certainly felt like it.   It terms of running, August has been  another […]

Running End To End | 874 Miles In A Year | Seven Months In

August 2, 2021 admin 0

That’s another month completed, another month closer to the deadline and more miles ticked off the score card. Out of the 874 miles we have ow completed a whopping 534.58 miles leaving us 339.42 miles to completed by December 31st, which I feel is totally doable at the moment. This means that in July we ran a total of 54 miles. We still aren’t back to running anywhere near the 100 miles in a month […]

Running End To End | 874 Miles In A Year | Six Months In

July 1, 2021 admin 0

I can not believe that we are now half way through the year. Which, in turn, means half way though the Lands End to John O’Groats running challenge time wise. Thankfully we are more than half way through the miles having now ran a total of 480. However the end still seems a long way away and 394 miles feels like an awful lot left to do.   In may I wrote about how sickness struck […]

Running End To End | 874 Miles In A Year | Five Months In

June 4, 2021 admin 1

Well what a disaster May turned out to be in regards to running the Lands End to John O’Groats challenge. I can’t actually believe how bad this month has been in comparison to our previous ones.  So far we have managed to hit 100 miles or more every single month for the last four months. Come rain or shine, snow or sleet, we have pushed and pushed ourselves to hit the 100 mile mark.  May […]

Running End To End | 874 Miles In A Year | Three Months In

March 31, 2021 admin 2

What a month March has been in terms of running end to end. My mum and I have now crossed the 300 mile mark! We still have a massive 574 miles to go but having already ran 300, we are well ahead of schedule. This in itself feels brilliant as it just gives us that buffer if anything was to put a halt to our running for any reason at any point throughout the year. […]

Running End To End | 874 Miles In A Year | Two months in

February 28, 2021 admin 0

Today is the last day of February and we have just got back from our last run of the month and I am glad to report the running End to End challenge is still moving forward at a good pace. I haven’t quit yet, so that’s something. This month seems to have flown by really quickly and it seems to be turning from the depths of winter to the start of spring. Instead of running […]

Running End To End | 874 Miles in a year | One month in

January 31, 2021 admin 1

If you have been following my blog for a while, or at least since the start of the year, you will know that I signed up to the End to End challenge where you need to run 874 miles, the equivalent of Land’s End to John O Groat’s, in a year. Week 1 was hard  and really made me wonder what I had done but I carried on, with the support of my mum who […]

Running End to End | 874 miles in a year | One week in

January 8, 2021 admin 5

This year I signed up to the End to End challenge. A virtual race where you aim to run a total of 874 miles (1,406 km), the equivalent of running from Land’s End to John O’ Groats, in a year. 874 miles is a hell of a lot. To put it into perspective last year I ran 399 miles, so this year in order to complete the challenge I need to double it and then […]

My experience of running with the Camelbak Zephyr vest

November 26, 2020 admin 1

I started running a couple of months after I had Layla. Mainly to lose some baby weight, tone up and try and get a bit fitter. Little did I know that running was going to become my savoir during a pandemic and then two lock downs. When I first started running I struggled to complete a 3km route we had mapped out. If I am really honest I struggled to get to the 1km mark […]

What do parent bloggers bring to the table?

August 12, 2020 admin 1

I first started blogging about 5 years ago as a hobby. I worked for an online blog where I would review beauty products and although I absolutely loved trying out new make up and face creams I knew in my heart of hearts I was not cut out to be a beauty blogger, not long term with that as my only focus anyway, so when an opportunity to review a long weekend in Scotland came […]
