Bath time just got a colourful upgrade in our house as we were sent the So Bomb Bath Bomb Dispenser to review. For those not familiar with it is a fun, retro style dispenser, reminiscent of the gum ball or bouncy ball dispensers from the 90’s. Below you can find out what we thought about it.
The So Bomb Bath Bomb Dispenser
As soon as we unpackaged the So Bomb Bath Bomb dispenser Layla was excited as the box is really vibrant, glittery and colourful and she couldn’t wait to get it opened. It comes complete with the dispenser and sealed bath bombs, you do have to build and fill the dispenser yourself but this takes a couple of minutes and to be honest adds to the excitement.
There are 20 mini scented bath bombs: strawberry, vanilla and pineapple, each one is sealed in a clear wrap to avoid making any mess or breaking when inside the dispenser. To release a bath bomb from the dispenser you simply turn it clockwise until one is released, then peal off the clear wrap and add it to the bath, watch it fizz and change the colour of the bath water and hopefully find a charm inside.

The charms can then be collected and added to the bracelet creating a charm bracelet over time. There are 10 charms in total, so expect some disappointment when a bath bomb doesn’t have a secret treasure inside, and of the 10 charms there are a range of shapes and colours to collect.
Overall thoughts on the So Bomb Bath Bomb Dispenser
Overall I think this is a great gift idea and at £15 it’s affordable. It offers some fun, can act as a bedroom or bathroom display/ornament and makes bath time more exciting too. It was very easy to put together and is easy enough for younger children to use on their own when they want to release a bath bomb.
It is a shame that not all the bath bombs contain charms but it makes finding a charm even more special. However the bath bombs themselves are nice, they dissolve easily and quickly and don’t leave a mess in the bath. They are mildly scented and do change the colour of the water which again is fun for the kids and having an ongoing bracelet that acts as a keepsake once the bath bombs have ran out makes it good value for money.
